More About Ruxandra Manu, Psy.D
Dr. Manu has worked in the filed of Educational Psychology for the past 26 years. She graduated from Humboldt State University with her Master's Degree, remained active in various associations representing the profession of School Psychologists, and then earned her Doctor of Psychology in 2012. In 2025 she earned the Diplomate status in School Neuropsychology from the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Throughout time Dr. Manu mainly worked in public schools dedicating her time and knowledge to children and their families in the pursuit of better academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes. Dr. Manu has also worked in private practice helping parents access services for their children either through direct work or collaborating with school staff to build links and connection for the family and student at the school site. She is knowledgeable about the Special Education System and the laws that surround it. She has worked closely with administrators both at the school site and district level. Dr. Manu is well versed in many different type of assessment tools and has many years of experience conducting evaluations for all kinds of suspected learning differences that may get in the way of academic success.
Working in the community, my business partner and I took note that parents, children, and adults are lacking access to private services that are extremely needed. Not all kids with challenges meet the IDEIA Special Education criterions to access free services. Not all children with advanced academic abilities get pushed or challenged in school. Parents are hungry and desire access to services in their community to support their children's education and social-emotional development.
At Supporting Diverse Minds by Loberg&Manu, we are working hard to offer parents and adults in the community access to choice, information, supports, coaching, advocacy, a voice, and a place where others care about their hopes and dreams and are willing to partner up and walk the path to success with them.
I hope you take that first step on the road to success by reaching out and talking to us. We will listen to you. If we do not have a service for you, we will do our best to link you to other professionals that may be able to meet your needs.
Respectfully
Dr. Manu
